These stories weren't about how many euphemisms for an erection a writer can come up with; they were about interesting, relatable, complex characters. The love stories and adventures were exciting in more than the baser meaning of the word and the world building was as good as any author's I have read in the straight fantasy section. More than once I thought to myself that JH would probably be a household name if her books were shelved one row over in my local Barnes & Noble. She is that good. But alas, I have read most of JH's published books at this point and the end is in sight. I can't go back to those other writers. Please Joey Hill fan forum, you're my only hope. What erotica authors have you found that can live up to the high standards JH sets?” --Reader Comment
